ROADSIDE CLEANUP

The Peterborough Bassmasters regularly volunteer at local events.  One annual event is the roadside cleanup that takes place each spring on a section of Buckhorn Road north of Selwyn.  This section of road is sponsored by the club. We have also done lakeside cleanup at the Buckhorn Damn, Gannon Narrows and Ennismore Rotary Park.

FISHING TO CURE CHILDHOOD CANCER

Another event the Peterborough Bassmasters have volunteered at is the summers Little Lake children’s “Fishing to Cure Childhood Cancer”.

Our members have also volunteered to help the Kawartha High School Bassmasters club in offering their boats to captain the kids in their tournaments PLUS have volunteered at the OFAH spring kids trout derby at the Lift Locks.
